Over the weekend of Feb 16th 2021, I decided to drive to Minnesota’s North Shore in search of stack ice. Saturday was beautiful. Morning and evening light you could not ask for anything better! Sunday dawn very cloudy and more wind. I took advantage of Saturday. It was wonderful. A side note: Saturday morning, I was photographing the ice and about a 100 yards down from me, I watch this guy wander down to the ice and walk right out to the edge and jump in. As it turns out, he had a dry suit on and was photographing the ice from in the water. I told myself I had to talk with this guy and I did. Really cool (literally).
